The best I've found is a group of friends with the kids the same age so, at the very least, I can see that what my kids are doing / saying is normal and that I'm not raising a bunch of hellions on the path to prison (b/c sometimes I wonder!). Sounds like you have a great group like that, so it has to help!

I literally cried leaving FL last week- it was amazing how big of a different 6 solid days in the sun made for the Hubs and I. It wasn't even all that hot there, but it was sun all day every day. At least the days are getting longer..

1st grade is a funny, funny year for the kiddos and I enjoy Scorch 95% of the time- I'm finding 6 in general to be a fun age. I know in Scorch's class his classmates are all over the map depending on a variety of things- including where / if they went to K or Pre K, birth order, etc. The good news is that the kids (at least in Scorch's class) are all nice, nice kids and there doesn't seem to be any meanness for being different in any way.

Hope everyone in your house is healthy!Heatherhttp://wickedlycrazyawesomelife.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8324151925261284539.post-5185219538025089252013-02-26T14:49:55.415-06:002013-02-26T14:49:55.415-06:00Do you just love the amount of attitude they can a...Do you just love the amount of attitude they can affect in just one phrase? Allie does it to me all the time! I love how you said it is easy to get locked into thinking of Pacey as the only one to struggle with 'fitting in' to the grade level skills. I will have to remind myself of that the next time I observe Boo.

I have no advice about the weird cravings except enjoy!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05615930943939757293noreply@blogger.com
